Keyboard vs. mouse
Researchers' statements
In 2002 The National Research Centre for the Working Environment of Denmark published a study titled "Computer work - a status over The Working Environment Institute's research on the area"1.
This study was based in previous works on the same subject matter. Some of the statements they concluded are the following:
"For intensive computer users, it is shown that people using the mouse a lot has more strain than those who operate the computer almost without using the mouse."2
"When using the mouse there is more activity in the neck muscles and in the muscles of the underarm lower side than when using the keyboard. Furthermore, both the margin of error and reaction time is higher when using the mouse."3
